Since launching her real estate career in 2016, Mojgan has been a dedicated realtor at JBGoodwin Realtors, where she is also a member of the Business Development and Recruiting Leadership Team. Prior to this, she spent twelve years in executive sales management at Macy’s Inc. and Bloomingdale’s in Southern California. In these roles, she led teams of over 75 sales associates and managed high-performing multi-million-dollar departments. Additionally, Mojgan spent five years overseeing the Special Services Department at Macy’s flagship store in South Coast Plaza, where she handled corporate sales initiatives, special events, and developed top-tier associates in Interior Design and Personal Shopper positions.
Originally from Iran, Mojgan immigrated to the United States with her family at the age of six as a political asylee. Growing up, she encountered the challenges of diaspora, exile, and stereotypes, as well as the hardships her family faced. These experiences shaped her resilience, determination, and trust in her family and intuition. As the youngest, she became the first of five siblings to graduate from college, earning a Bachelor's degree in Communication Arts with a minor in Psychology from the University of the Incarnate Word.
Mojgan is deeply involved in the Iranian-American community in San Antonio, a connection that dates back to her high school years. In 2018, she co-founded and spearheaded a nonprofit organization, the San Antonio Persian Cultural Society (Mehr Foundation), where she currently serves as president of the board. She is also the president-elect of the Asian American Alliance of San Antonio, having served as Board Secretary in 2023 and 2024. Her passion for community stems from her love for Iran, her birth country, and she is committed to supporting others who share the immigrant journey she undertook as a child.
Her diverse career, spanning different industries and cities, showcases her adaptability and skill in connecting with people from all walks of life. Mojgan is a strong advocate for building meaningful relationships, which she believes are key to both personal and professional fulfillment.
Beyond her professional achievements and nonprofit work, Mojgan is also an author, a co-producer of a film, and she produced a local variety show in San Antonio during the 1990s for the Iranian-American community. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, reading, and savoring a good glass of wine.
Mojgan is known to her friends and clients as JJand lives by the motto that life is a journey, not an obstacle, and she carries this philosophy with her every day to inspire those around her.
